Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 E 21 and T 9 following. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Truck 9. This company was one of several disbanded back in July of 2000. This rig now is currently Reserve Truck 45. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 What I grew up with several blocks away from home... Engine 44 & Truck 25 sitting outside in front of their house. This shot was taken about 1996. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Another shot. This was also during the time when Battalion Chief 9, and later Battalion 4, used to run out of here. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Here was Engine 44 responding down Upland Road with a spare 1974 Seagrave engine, I think RE 60, around 1995. They always used to cut through down that way on Edgevale Road to get to Falls Road and I would always be able to see them less than a block away from my front porch <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Truck 6 with their 1987 Spartan/LTI stick up during the 1998 Firehouse Expo photoshoot at Steadman. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Engine Co. 6 with a 1987 Spartan/FMC backing into the house at Oldtown in the mid 1990's. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 These oldies raised a question for me. Is Baltimore still using Meushaw(spl) Valves if still made? or using another brand? Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Engine 57 with their brand new 1994 Pierce Dash foam pumper in front of E 35/T 21 Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 During our first visit to Aerial Tower 111, the driver turned on the lights for us, which I always loved seeing as a child. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 AT 111 and a spare Seagrave engine inside the old house of 111. The building is now owned by MICA (Maryland Institute College of Art). Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Old Aerial Tower 114 inside their house on Harford Rd. in Lauraville. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Another one of the old aerial towers, AT 124 inside their house at Eastern Avenue which is now where Truck 20 operates out of. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Here was another visit to AT 124 where they had just finished washing the rig outside on the front ramp. [/quote] First of all nice shots. Secondly I have a couple questions . Was the old town station a large combination station like steadman and do you have any interior shots of the old houses in balto?. I love the old traditional stations and love seeing the insides of them. If you don't have any could you point me in a direction to look. Thanks in advance. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 Our first visit to Aerial Tower 128 in Fairfield. Baltimore City Fire Department - Guest - 08-27-2012 On the other side of the bay from 128 was Reserve Truck 40, a very old spare American-LaFrance tiller.
