Jeremy are they reopening Station 2 with this rig or is it going to Station 3?

TEXAS RIGS - jbrown9079 - 01-03-2008

I havent heard of Sta 3. That will be news to me. The new Sta 2 has been open for awhile near on Holderrieth west of Huffsmith-Korville.

TEXAS RIGS - Ladder 68 - 01-03-2008

I got a tour of the TVFD a couple of months ago from Chief Parr and we drove by a closed station down from current Station #1. Is this where the new rig is going or to the other station with the big E\-One pumper/tanker?

Thanks.

TEXAS RIGS - jbrown9079 - 01-03-2008

The station east of town on 2920 near Concordia HS has been shut down since the new station opened. I have heard a rumor of Tomball going full time, but that is just a rumor.

TEXAS RIGS - Ladder 68 - 01-03-2008

Man, Engine 1 must be slow today. You keep answering quick. Ha ha.

TEXAS RIGS - jbrown9079 - 01-03-2008

Nah, working at part time, on duty tomorrow. Actually going to Sta 2 tomorrow. Going to be there for 2 months while the ARFF class/academy is going on. They are doing the class while on shift. Who ever is in class will be on E1. Then its back to 1's when its over.
Just an FYI.....

This is a product of R.O. Hahn of Cincinnati, OH, not Hahn Motors of Hamburg, PA. R.O. Hahn is a fabricator of eliptical tanks. They have constructed a few fire apparatus.
Thanks Dave,

Do you happen to know how many rigs they built?

TEXAS RIGS - GA_Dave - 01-27-2008

I do not. I've only shot one. Most stayed in Ohio.
