First up is Reserve Truck 3

Was around until the early 80's

Second Line Truck 4:
1955 American LaFrance
ex Passaic, NJ-buried under a falling wall on a fire ground. Baltimore bought it and rebuilt it giving it to Truck 8 in 1962.
Truck 8 had it until 1974 when it went into second line service.

Second Line Engine 23:
1954 GMC/General 750/300
Baltimore had two of these that were given (on loan) to the City by the Government for Civil Defense.
They were eventually turned over to the BCFD and then were repainted white with red fenders and were around until 1973.

Bought by Heaver Museum and restored.

Here's some of the only shot that I have ever seen of Water Tower 2 under construction at the Repair Shop. The story is that is was being rebuilt by one guy and when he died no one else knew what was going on and how to finish it. It sat for years and was eventually junked in October of 1956. It went out of service on February 2, 1950 and while it was being rebuilt all of the men in the company were detailed to other companies and eventually transferred when Water Tower 2
went out of service on February 27, 1957.

Baltimore had this CO2 unit for a few years that they got from Baltimore Gas and Electric Company.
It is pictured here in June of 1989 at the only incident that it ran on. A fire at a BGE substation.
It was so heavy that only the FD tow truck could pull it.
It was housed at Engine 35 until the got rid of it.

Thanks to all who have shared the historical pictures recently. I grew up in the Baltimore area and vaguely remember some of the second line rigs being used in the old Baltimore firehouses and always like BCFD's white rigs with red and later Omaha orange fenders. Thanks again.

BCFD Tank Wagon 1:
1969 White/Local
2000 gal. Diesel, 2000 gal. gas
In 1993 was converted into foam tender

In 1993 rehabbed by Bevier and a 2500 gallon unbaffeled tank added.
Foam Tender 1
Gone by the end of 2009. Because of the unbaffeled tank and split shift transmission(only a few could drive it)
it never was used much and of course the foam congealed from sitting.

It was repainted around 1974-75 in the Omaha Orange scheme and was around until about 1985
