Bel Alton in Charles County, Md once ran this 1988 Mack R685F built by Pierce as Tanker 106. It has a 1000 gpm pump and carried 1500 gallons of water.

Sorry if I confused anyone as i screwed up the sequence on the photos and gave myself credit on the Hiwassee Dam photo.

Wrecked

The Hagerstown Engine is a 1985 and is still in service with City Co.5 I think.

Hagerstown has a fleet of KME's. The only Mack's still owned that I know of are the L model at St. 5 and the C model at St. 3. The department also still has a Ahrens-Fox to.

Where do you get your info?

The former Mack CFs from E1,2,3 were all 1982s and bought at the same time. After the triple KME purchase in 2004, the one from E3 was retained as a spare. The only other spare is x-E4, 1991 KME. E-5 was a 1972 CF and is now privately owned.

In 2004-05, HFD BFC Justin Mayhue did 2 Arcadia books: "Firefighting in Hagerstown", and "Hagerstown firefighting through the years".
