[/quote] I got beat to the station for pictures already, haha. There are a ton of pictures on Flickr under the username "Triborough" as well as a video of the first back-in on youtube under "Philadelphia Fire Department new Engine 37". This I took the day of a 4 Alarm warehouse fire last year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DN_8l25WYwQ Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-13-2012 Engine 37 1995 KME (rebuilt in 2012) EX-Engine 66, EX-Engine 71 The truck has plenty of room in the station, but the narrow doors are the issue. Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-13-2012 Engine 37 pulling out. The driver was able to maneuver the rig well and pulled out with little issues. Philadelphia, PA - IrishTruckie - 12-13-2012 37's may be the slowest House in the city run wise..... Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-13-2012 Engine 66 ran 650 runs last year. Engine 37 ran just under 800 http://www.phila.gov/fire/2011%20Total%20Runs%20rev.pdf Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-14-2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iyx7NfsN_6k Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-15-2012 Videos taken by a friend of mine... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uvfzOYkr2yE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WwMGiAdi8w Philadelphia, PA - Juice - 12-15-2012 [sub]What does a "refurb" consist of for PFD? Like in the case with 37, I would assume this is the truck they'll be in for quite some time to come, but everything "cosmetically" pretty much still looks the same:[/sub] [sub]Chrome bumper instead of replacing it with a Red steel bumper[/sub] [sub]Vector bar instead of putting an LED bar on like all of the rest of the new trucks[/sub] [sub]Same pitted out, dirty aluminum wheels that truck has had on it instead of new ones[/sub] [sub]Halogen turn lights, etc.[/sub] [sub]The list goes on, as I said this is just what I notice cosmetically, but normally when I think of a refurb it's a heavy one, and makes the truck being rehabbed easily comparable, again cosmetically, to all of the new trucks in the fleet.[/sub] [sub]Trav![/sub] Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-15-2012 [quote name='Juice' timestamp='1355610000' post='505452'] [sub]What does a "refurb" consist of for PFD? So the pumps are new. I believe the Engine and all of the insides are new as well. The only cosmetic difference is the new coat of paint and LED tail-lights.
