Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-17-2012
GREAT pics! a question....any idea why Philly dropped the exterior medical compartment on the newest KME's?

Nice shots at the job, Aaron!
Thanks! In reference to the medical compartment, I believe it was because it took away too much room on the inside of the already small cab. How come one is Called a Water Tower, and the other is a Squrt are there any differences between the 2 Rigs? just curious?
Thanks! So they designated them "Squrt". The "Water Tower" rigs have 50' Snozzle brand booms. The PFD used to designated the Squrts "Tower Pumpers" so I believe that is why they are designated "Snozzle" Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-25-2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2SXlb0dEFw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_IZE8kjkjw0 Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-26-2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkKGBoUbenk Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-27-2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyebnH-JNn0 Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-27-2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RL_bOmde8NA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFOWDd_g7sc Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-28-2012 Engine 24 2012 KME Squad 47 2004 American LaFrance Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-28-2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSDlyGDcgRU Philadelphia, PA - Bmott70 - 12-28-2012 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T15845qeBac http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNTkBqajEyk Philadelphia, PA - hp1530 - 12-28-2012 Any chance of getting a video of the Water Towers setting up or at a training exercise?
