Of course I mean Lucy, Lucille Ball. While it's true that Lucy was born in Jamestown (that's where the hospital was), she grew up in Celoron, the small village just to the west of Jamestown. I don't think it was all that important to her, either way, as she was known to tell people that she was from Butte, MT. First up is this 1936 Ford/Rochester Fire Equipment Engine which formerly served the Wallington FD of Wayne County. This rig is still owned by them and used as a parade piece which is nicknamed "The Hawk". Empire State Oldies - matchot - 04-20-2009 Next up is this 1959 Diamond T/Oren Engine which formerly served the Ontario FD in Wayne County. this rig is still owned by the dept, and is seen in many parades during the summertime. Empire State Oldies - matchot - 04-20-2009 Next up is this 1950 Chevrolet/Young Engine which carries serial # 50-75 which formerly served with the Walworth FD in Wayne County. This rig is still owned by the dept, and is used as a parade rig.
