During the fall of 2017, Iowa Interstate Railroad sponsored passenger train rides between Durant and West Liberty as fund raisers for those fire departments. Here, the passenger train pulls into Durant with Durant 141 looking on.

Multiple trips of the passenger train ran back and forth during the day, here arriving Durant again and passing by Durant 145.
