I believe this was set up as a foam unit. You will notice the S.H.O.T. behind the fender, as it was part of the Cumberland County Special Hazards Operations Team. I am not sure of the in service dates. I believe it was replaced with an open cab ALF. This company has since merged with the Empire Hook & Ladder Co. and is now Company 45 in Carlisle Borough. It's now privately owned. 1969 Mack CF 685F-12 1020 Waterous 1250gpm pump Note the lack of traditional cowl warning lamps and the substitution of triple 8s closer to the headlights. In 1989 Willow Grove purchased a 1974 Mack CF-686-F10 1000/500 from LaMott (Montgomery Co.),PA which they rehabed locally. In 1998 it was sold to a FL dealer. Horsham had a 1979 Mack CF-611-F15 1500/600 which they sold to Enterprise FC-Hatboro (Montgomery Co.),PA in 1999 for temporary use while they were having a Pierce rehabbed. The Mack remained all white while there. In 2000 it was resold. Former transit coach. In 1964 purchased from FDNY where used as ambulance. Converted to canteen by Second Alarmers Assn.and Rescue Squad of Montgomery Co.,PA located in Willow Grove,PA. Refurbished in 1979. In early 1990s this organization discontinued its canteen servive. Keystone State Relics - BA000049 - 04-16-2007 Tom & Scott, Additional info on your shots: Ironville 1977 Ford C8000/Hamerly, full cab, 1000/2500, cabinet style tandem axle tanker. Sold in 2001 to a fire company in the AR. Florin 1980 Ford C8000/Pierce, canopy cab, 1000/750, top-mount pump panel, purchased 6/80, 3208 Cat diesel, automatic. The pump was rebuilt in 1991, it has a 3.5 Winco generator. Retained in 2001 when the department merged with Mount Joy. Moved to the downtown station. For sale in 2001. Finally sold in 01/02 to Sunbury (McIntosh County, GA). Lititz 1977 Seagrave, P-series, canopy cab, 1000/1000, long wheelbase and body, 6V-92 Detroit diesel, automatic. This was the first rig ordered with a automatic transmission. Sold in 1998 through Northeast Fire Apparatus. Downingtown-Alert 1969 Mack CF-685-F12, canopy cab, 1250/300, delivered 1/20/69. This was the first unit ordered with the all yellow paint scheme, nicknamed “Yellow Bird”, 6 cylinder Mack ENDT675 diesel, 5-speed manual transmission. It was rehabed and repainted by LTI in 1986. Replaced and put up for bid in early 1999, only one bid from H.J. Usher of Downingtown for $3,000, rejected by the borough. Mr. Usher eventually purchased it. They are located on the Adams/York County border,just outside Hanover,PA. Hey Wardengine , do you know when and where these parade shots were taken???
