This was Chemical Wagon 42 of the Friendship Fire Company No. 5, Carlisle, PA. I believe this was set up as a foam unit. You will notice the S.H.O.T. behind the fender, as it was part of the Cumberland County Special Hazards Operations Team. I am not sure of the in service dates. I believe it was replaced with an open cab ALF.

This company has since merged with the Empire Hook & Ladder Co. and is now Company 45 in Carlisle Borough.

Tom - I ran into this one at the Wilmington Muster last year. It's now privately owned.

1969 Mack CF 685F-12 1020 Waterous 1250gpm pump

Note the lack of traditional cowl warning lamps and the substitution of triple 8s closer to the headlights.

Mike[/quote]

Mike: This truck was not in service at Willow Grove FC after it left Horsham. In 1989 Willow Grove purchased a 1974 Mack CF-686-F10 1000/500 from LaMott (Montgomery Co.),PA which they rehabed locally. In 1998 it was sold to a FL dealer. Horsham had a 1979 Mack CF-611-F15 1500/600 which they sold to Enterprise FC-Hatboro (Montgomery Co.),PA in 1999 for temporary use while they were having a Pierce rehabbed. The Mack remained all white while there. In 2000 it was resold.
