2011 Pierce Velocity (Pierce Job # 23926) Haz Mat 3 Dallas, TX
This went into service 11-2-11. It replaces a 1999 Spartan-Super Vac (seen on p.5 post #99 of this thread). This is the first Pierce in the fleet since a 1981 Pierce Tower that served at Truck 18 & Truck 20. It is also the first Dallas apparatus to have a Roto Ray installed.

From the Florence, NJ 100th anniversary parade this past Saturday, the Bristol-Myers Squibb facility in Princeton, NJ runs this Pierce Lance as SS 27. Anybody have any other info on it?

Sad to hear that this is up for replacement. This rig has been one of my favorites since the day it was delivered. I love that they have added the chrome wheels. If I had money, and place to keep it, I would by it and bring it home.
