What was the assignment of RE03 before? Was it Engine Co. 04. I assume that RE02 is the former E03.

If my memory serves me correct, RE02 was E3 at the time when the tranny had problems. It was never the same after going into pump gear at 60 MPH. If you look at RE3, you can see the stripping was never put back after the paint was fixed above rear axle. I believe it was E4 at the time. When Sta 5 was opened, it was moved there to become E5.
Looks like L2 will be replace soon. It was approved by city. They are going back to a 75ft ladder on a tandem-axle Dash.

From the Pierce website:

They have an older, very similar rig at Engine 1.
