DCFD Photos, old or new - tcosgrovejones - 02-25-2009
Hey chief you need to get a shot of the wagon with the new door seal.
As you requested. But on New RS-2. Credit Bill W for the Pics <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/BananaMan.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Cosgr <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stirpot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ve DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 02-26-2009 I thought Rescue 1 was getting the new the squad. So it is 2 now? DCFD Photos, old or new - SLIPPERYSAM - 02-26-2009 Cool, I like it. Looks good. It has the old DC patch on the door. Sweet. DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 02-26-2009 That is all good but I was talking about the first apparatus in service with the new door patch.... E-4 DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 02-26-2009 I'm going to definetely have to make a trip down to DC for that. That is a nice looking ride. DCFD Photos, old or new - Tillerman1664 - 02-26-2009 So THAT'S what a user friender Squad looks like! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I bet you don't have to climb up on the roof to get cribbing on that one, do you Cos? DCFD Photos, old or new - SrFireOfficial - 02-26-2009 Awesome rig. What is the black trim between the red/white line and the white/roof line? The retro DCFD old school seal on the door ROCKS. Wish you guys would also reconsider using the older style block lettering too. DCFD Photos, old or new - R1SmokeEater - 02-26-2009 Sharp looking "Rescue" !!! Looking foward to more ! DCFD Photos, old or new - foghog333 - 02-26-2009 The trim that appears black is actually a poly material rub rail that is installed at three levels on the body. The lowest one is below the compartments, the middle one is where the old style drip rail would be and the upper one is at the bottom edge of the roof radius. The triple rail provides more protection to the body when driving in tight situations. Tom Shand Hamburg, New York DCFD Photos, old or new - Truckman - 02-26-2009 Coz, nice looking ride. Where is the ROTO-RAY???? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> DCFD Photos, old or new - R1SmokeEater - 02-26-2009
The trim that appears black is actually a poly material rub rail that is installed at three levels on the body. Our rig (which u helped w/ specs) has the 3 rub rails too (but not the poly-which I wanted) DCFD Photos, old or new - tcosgrovejones - 02-26-2009
So THAT'S what a user friender Squad looks like! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/doh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I bet you don't have to climb up on the roof to get cribbing on that one, do you Cos?
You got it. And you can ride in the BACK 9 like REAL FIREMENN with 6 SCBA"S MOUNTED Cosgr <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stirpot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ve DCFD Photos, old or new - amcare38 - 02-26-2009 Any information about when the new RS2 will be delivered & placed in service, or has that already happened? DCFD Photos, old or new - SrFireOfficial - 02-26-2009 I'm looking at the roof line of the box on the rescue just above the "front window". That roof line looks very similar to what was on the front roof line of many of the Saulsbury rescue boxes I have seen over the years. Now, I'm just speculating here but, when E-1 took over Saulsbury didn't Seagrave go into the heavy rescue/hazmat body business? And considering the roof line design....did someone from Saulsbury want to stay in the northern climes and not move to Florida? Sounds like a question for Tom Shand...anybody else catch this or I am just hitting the bourbon too hard tonight. DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 02-27-2009 AWSOME!!!!!! Are all 3 being replaced or just R2? DCFD Photos, old or new - foghog333 - 02-27-2009 The roof line and support system for the new DCFD Rescue Squad was designed similar to the one used at Saulsbury. Your eyes have not deceived you! Tom Shand Hamburg, New York DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 03-03-2009 Does anyone have a side on view of the emblem on the Ambulances? Thanks DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 03-03-2009 Anyone going to the 100 year anniversary of E21(Adams Morgan)? I understand Engine 12 has the first one (for a wagon). Photo February 28, 2009. |
