Coatesville



1967 Hahn 78, Cincinnati canopy cab, 1000/500, model C-10-38. This was one of the twin pumpers purchased used in 1980 by the city from the Edge Hill Fire Company (Montgomery County). It was first housed at the Washington Hose Company but was moved to the West End Company in the 1987 consolidation move. It was never repainted to match the other units in the company. It has a 6V71 and it has an automatic transmission. It was put up for sale in 1995 and sold to Franklindale (Bradford County) by a dealer.



Media



1976 Oshkosh/Pierce, canopy cab, 1500/300, top-mount, large diameter reel holding 1600' of 5". It was housed on 5/15/76 at a cost of $80,000. A refurb was done in early 1992 by Pierce with a 4-door Arrow cab being retrofitted, a new 250 water tank, and adding a 200 gallon foam tank, 6 KW Onan generator.



Neffsville



1979 Chevrolet C6500/Pierce, full cab, 750/500, gas motor, 5-speed manual transmission, steel tank, 5.3 KW generator, sold in 1992 to Windham Twp. Fire Company (Bradford County).



Elizabethtown



1980 Sutphen, Cincinnati canopy cab, 1500/500, Detroit 8V-71 diesel, automatic, housed 7/24/83, sold to Northeast Fire Apparatus in 1996 for $20,000 who sold it to a South American location.

I won't dispute that this great WLF may have come from Garfield NJ, however neighboring Wallington NJ did have one almost identical to this for years. Wallington has a history of friendship with PA companies in that region, attending their parades; Garfield may also.

after posting it i read somewhere it did come from wallington newjersey, but i couldn't edit it. thanks for pointing it out. much appreciatedi know hugh will be proud i am using his collection for him

dave; i was talking about the mechanicsburg piece not maytown's. yes sacramento is running it but replacing it this year they got a grant foe new piece

1981 Pierce Arrow 1250/400/40 55 ft LTI Fire Stix. In 1992 repainted white over red and rehabed. In 1997 sold to TN broker. In 2000 was in service at LaVergne (Rutherford Co,.),TN. In 2002 said to have been totaled in an accident-anybody have details? Purchased new by Tullytown (Bucks Co.),PA.

1980 Spartan/FMC 1500 gpm. Purchased new by Swedeland VFC-LOwer Merion Twp,(Montgomery Co.),PA. By 1989 the cab defined that work "RUST"-having large visible holes and damage. By 1993 out-of-service.
