Mack Fire Apparatus - Guest - 03-19-2012 Cumberland's 1968 CF gets a lot of attention, but CFD's 1950 L-85 is no slouch either, the good news is after 60 years of service, it was donated by the city in 2010 to a local museum group who have already started a CFD history exhibit, hopefully it will ultimately be accessible for viewing. In 2006, the Cumberland chief took me to the Public Works complex to shoot this classic. Although a bit faded, this rig runs smoothly. An interesting anecdote is that the 68 CF was involved in a accident while responding to a major train wreck in Cumberland,on 9/25/1985, the 50 L-85 took its place at the scene and then ran while the CF was repaired. (The CF had just undergone rehab prior to the accident <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_redface.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> ) Warren W. Is there a place where I can search the list of all Mack CFs built? I am looking for info on the two Marlborough, MA had. One was a MMA (1972?), the other a pumper (1972). I'd love to find out what happened to either of these, last I saw of them they were sitting on route 1 in Foxboro, MA at a scrap yard / dealer. Thanks in advance for any info!! Mack Fire Apparatus - smketrfdny - 04-09-2012 Brothers, I posted this under relics and hope someone in the Niagara Falls area might want to save an ols C model Mack I saw sitting in a scrap yard off I-190. Looks like it was the Metropolitan Fire aerial that was once Massapequa or Hicksville, NY. Hopefully the guy is keeping it, but I would hate to see it end the same way that Tarrytown rig did. JMO. Stay safe, Brothers. It orignally served the Fort Washington Fire Department also of Montgomery County, Pa, I don't have the Mack number or a better picture yet as I haven't quite gotten it home from Royersford (working out storage issues, cetainlly don't want to leave it sitting outside!). It will be coming home to Lake Meade on May 22nd though! 1982 Mack CF Pumper 1,250/500 X-Fort Washington, Pa Humane by Rheems1, on Flickr Mack Fire Apparatus - John Kenealy - 05-07-2012 [quote name='OPEN CAB MACK' timestamp='1336390621' post='484465'] That appears to be Engine 6 from the City of Jeanette, Westmoreland County, PA.
