Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-12-2012 logo Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-12-2012 Truck 4 lives in Chinatown..no rig shot Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-12-2012 H&L 30 Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-12-2012 E 75 from Roseland Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-12-2012 64 near Ford City Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-12-2012 Might have posted this one before too..notice the rit stuff on the front bumper Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-12-2012 so that's what I shot on my way to work last week..poorly lit but after some lightroom magic some decent record shots Steve <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fireman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Chicago Fire Department - ff168577 - 03-12-2012
Might have posted this one before too..notice the rit stuff on the front bumper
I really like the change of the side turn signals on the front of the cab to the red warning leds, and moving the turn signals to the bottom. Chicago Fire Department - jim kay - 03-13-2012 Great shots as usual...... Love the CFD pics.... Chicago Fire Department - Juice - 03-14-2012
I really like the change of the side turn signals on the front of the cab to the red warning leds, and moving the turn signals to the bottom.
Agreed! Trav! Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-27-2012 Engine 119 truck 55 circa 1983 Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-27-2012 Found a coupla interesting shots today... The first was taken by my Dad about 1973 and shows 98 with their new 2000 gpm ALF...as I mentioned before these were a sight to behold back then... Another image shows the rig about 1983...after quick water modifications...pre-piped deck gun and cross lays added...they gave this treatment to almost all of the older front line engines..they also added 4 inch hose but I’m pretty sure 98 carried a bed of 4 inch hose from its earliest days..I think all the 2000 gpm engines did...I would often see them drop 3 lines at a big fire...2 1/2 3 and 4 inch all at the same time...I really wonder how much if any use 98 made of the crosslays and deck gun..probably not much if ever as most of their big jobs were hi rises. Chicago Fire Department - Guest - 03-27-2012 here is the 1980's version Chicago Fire Department - firepost - 03-29-2012 Those are interesting shot's not only of Engine 98 as first delivered and as the modified (cross lay) version but the shot taken of the Engine 119 and Truck 55 with their ALF's in front of their station. As you probably know Engine 119's quarters was one of the first stations to get a new modular Paramedic ambulance (Ambulance 39) put in service in the 1970s after they had put the new 40 series Ambulances in service in the downtown area and at Ambulance 47 ( Engine 108's quarters). Chicago Fire Department - Jamie - 03-29-2012 Hey Steve, any chance of you getting any static pics of "Engine 51," "Truck 81," and "Squad 3?" <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Chicago Fire Department - CFD Adv207 - 03-30-2012
Hey Steve, any chance of you getting any static pics of "Engine 51," "Truck 81," and "Squad 3?" <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Tim Olk has a few shots on his Smug Mug site...
