1980 Mack CF/1996 Interstate 1000/1000, still there

There used to be a Berkeley Springs thread on here...

Need some help with this one. I found this on the lot at Wilde Fire in Mayfield NY yesterday. The lettering has been removed, but Margaretville (Delaware County NY) still can be deciphered. Margaretville recently purchased Johnstown NY's Grumman tower ladder, Johnstown replaced that truck with a new Rosenbauer tower. Wilde Fire is a Rosenbauer dealer, so that must be the connection.

Anyone know where this one came from?

Mack Fire Apparatus - Guest - 06-25-2012

York County Pa, then was sold to Middle River volunteers in Baltimore Co.

Lime Green in Middle River?

Mack Fire Apparatus - Guest - 06-25-2012

Yes, what I was told today by W. G. here in Baltimore was that it was a demo for Mack and was sold to York Co. Company 15, when Middle River purchased it, it was close to their colors at that time so they left it as is. If you can find any old ads for the Mack Bulldog 1 that is this truck. It was a sweet truck when Middle River had it with a great ladder too. Hope it doesn't end up.in scrap yard

I shot this back in 1990 in Baltimore.

It still looks in great shape. Someone did a nice rehab job on it. I am sure someone will pick it up.

It just looks like its dying to get to work. Taking what you throw at it and ask for more.

Mack Fire Apparatus - Rheems1 - 06-28-2012

I just called and talk to the owner of Wilde Fire... it has been there for going on a year.. they were getting ready to cut the body off and make a crane out of it but he would MUCH rather sell it ($5,000 takes it.... getting ready to talk to the wife LOL).

Mack Fire Apparatus - Guest - 06-28-2012

$5K, what a steal. Get on it Fritz!! lol

Mack Fire Apparatus - Guest - 06-28-2012

get me a telephone number and some specs and ill put a listing on the Facebook page "Used Fire Trucks For Sale". Maybe some one will save her.

Mack Fire Apparatus - Guest - 06-28-2012

Did you happen to notice if it still had any ground ladders on it? I would be quite interested if it did.

NEBCO North East Benton County, AR Ladder 831

Ex: Rogers, AR Fire Department

Truck 131 and Truck 1

1971

Mack CF

Chassis #1254

Type # CF685F-12

Pump # 37668

1979

Mack CF/ Pierce/ Snorkel Tele-Squirt

#E-0140

1250/500

50ft Tele-Squirt

Note: Delivered as a CF Pumper in 1971. In 1979 the body from behind the pump house was removed and placed on Rogers Mack B Model Quad. The Mack B Model Quad retained its orginal pump house. They shortened the frame on the B Model Quad to accept the CF Body. The CF was then sent to Pierce for a new body and 50ft Tele-Squirt. The ground ladders on this unit are from the Mack B Model Quad. The 50ft Bangor from the Quad was mounted overhead on the newly kit bashed Mack B Model/CF body pumper. When it returned it became Rogers first Aerial Ladder. Pierce left the Mack built plates in the cab and re attached the Mack build plate to the pump panel. This was an extremely interesting find while teaching in Rogers last summer. Special thanks to Mike and Steve for helping me with information!!!
