Canada Eh? - Big Dave - 12-30-2013 on another cool but sunny day (-43C with the wind), I photographed this 2013 Fort Garry Fire Trucks/FL-M2-106 1050/1000/25 for Dewberry, Alberta which si in Vermilion River County. It carries serial no. M507. Happy New Year to all! Canada Eh? - atlanticfiretrucks - 12-31-2013 Found this buried in the snow. Looks like a new(to them) Heavy Rescue for Advocate NS. Unable to find a manufacturer plate for the body, as it was buried in the snow. But it looks like it ran as a "Rescue 7" for someone, and is a walk in Heavy rescue on a 90's IHC 4900DT Chassis. Canada Eh? - atlanticfiretrucks - 12-31-2013 I am hearing it may be ex Ottawa ONT???? Canada Eh? - atlanticfiretrucks - 12-31-2013 Could possibly be 1992 IHC 4900/Almonte ex: Ottawa Fire Services....last used by training dept? Ladder13, Kenny can you confirm? Canada Eh? - ff002 - 12-31-2013 Quote:Could possibly be 1992 IHC 4900/Almonte ex: Ottawa Fire Services....last used by training dept? Ladder13, Kenny can you confirm?Nope....thats not Ottawa's.... Canada Eh? - atlanticfiretrucks - 01-01-2014 FFDrive, I'm not overly familiar with Almonte rigs....where would I find a Serial #? Drivers door? Canada Eh? - Guest - 01-02-2014 Quote:Could possibly be 1992 IHC 4900/Almonte ex: Ottawa Fire Services....last used by training dept? Ladder13, Kenny can you confirm? As mentioned by Bruce (ffdrive) it sure looks like an Almonte, but was not the Ottawa (ex Nepean) rig. I will look into it, but it could have been Cornwall, Ontario's rig or a number of any other Ontario department's that ordered similar rigs from Almonte. Canada Eh? - daviddnb - 01-02-2014 ex rescue 7 from Cornwall ont. Replaced by new spartan metrostar erv. Canada Eh? - atlanticfiretrucks - 01-02-2014 Thanks for the info guys! Much appreciated! Canada Eh? - bige1998 - 01-04-2014 From my trip to Ottawa this past summer. Ottawa - Hazmat 24 - 1999 GMC C8500/Almonte Canada Eh? - bige1998 - 01-04-2014 Ottawa - Ladder 24 - 2003 E\-One Cyclone II Canada Eh? - bige1998 - 01-04-2014 Ottawa - Ladder 33 - 2008 Spartan/Carl Thibault/RK Canada Eh? - bige1998 - 01-04-2014 Ottawa - Ladder 35 - 2002 E\-One Cyclone II Canada Eh? - bige1998 - 01-04-2014 Ottawa - Pod 44 - 2008 International Canada Eh? - Big Dave - 01-13-2014 Paradise Valley, Vermilion River County, Alberta 2013 Fort Garry Fire Trucks/FL-M2-106 1050/1000/25 s/n #M492 Canada Eh? - ff002 - 01-14-2014 Ottawa's New Spartan Eastway command unit.....sorry for the poor quality but a shot of opportunity. Canada Eh? - jlg1875 - 01-17-2014 Nice to see it's finally done, Ladder13 and I talked about it being delayed and no one knowing when it would be delivered when I visited in 2010! Canada Eh? - Guest - 01-18-2014 Quote:Ottawa - Ladder 24 - 2003 E-One Cyclone IILooks a little different this morning, more of a big city feel with a bashed in bumper. I was merely showing the Ottawa Airport Security team some flaws in their security perimeter fence. It just doesn't stop a 40 ton firetruck when its sliding on an unsalted, glare ice covered roadway. I would love to see any video of this one as we went through the fence, but more fun would be seeing the Lieutenant and I getting out of the truck and both of us going down on either side at the same time! It was quite the ice! Rig will remain in service. Canada Eh? - Rollup - 01-23-2014 Quote:Looks a little different this morning, more of a big city feel with a bashed in bumper.
