and lastly for now Rocky Hill Engine 1......a Pierce Arrow of unknown year but its 1750/750

State Of Conneticut - Guest - 09-04-2011

Rocky Hill's E1 is a 1988. When I shot it last summer I was told the stats are 1750/750/50F, but we all know there can sometimes be confusion at the station as to what the tank size really is. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Smile' />

thanks Mike.....i have seen it listed as an '88 but i really thought they had it before then. i know early on in its career, they dumped the tank thru the roof turret on a VW with a magnesium block fire and actually put it out!!!

I took the pic on 7/15/10, and as far as I know they do still have it.

State Of Conneticut - tntway - 09-05-2011

yes.....RHVFD still has the Pierce......it's first due to the major industrial complexes in town. here's a link to an older pic.....note the lighting changes over the years......

Thank you, the roads were definitely rough today, one day the rain will stop for more than an hour or so...hopefully before my next trip down there
