GMC This was parked outside Fire House Two. It had Division of Emergency Management Decals with the Fire Maltese Cross. St. Louis Metro - MFD76 - 07-06-2010 St. Charles Fire Department (St Charles County) Squad 1 Radio # 478 1987 # 3092 Pierce-Ford 300/300 I assume this lovely Lime Gem was awaiting disposal outside of Fire House Two. Thought it was interesting so here it is, obviously the sun has not ripened it <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/hysterical.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=' ![]() St. Louis Metro - MFD76 - 07-06-2010 Spanish Lake Fire Protection District (North St. Louis County) Fire House 1 Scott Breathing Air Compressor/ Lighting Trailer St. Louis Metro - tntway - 07-06-2010 here's St. Louis E-20 being put to good use during the rather warm Fair St. Louis this weekend. pic was taken by my wife who is trying to keep up with the other wives on the board that are getting the job done for their hubbys!! St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-09-2010 I just did maintenance on Spanish Lake's Scott air trailer. must have just missed you down there. St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 07-18-2010 Here is Kirkwood Mo's new Platform 1535 going to the Schnuck's Supermarket in Des Peres, Mo( Right behind my work) I was on my way to the butcher to pick up some veal when i saw this beast turning into the parking lot!!! St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 07-18-2010 Another!!! St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 07-18-2010 Last One!!! Quite a nice surprise! somebody can hopefully get some more shots of this one and some specs! St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-18-2010 not a bad ride. they got that one pretty quick. i knew they had high tension lines fall across their other platform and it fried everything in the truck. nice shots. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-19-2010 Wow! I didn't know that the new 1535 had even been delivered. Nothing shown under 'New Deliveries' on Pierce's website. Beautiful rig! I really like Kirkwood's graphics on their rigs; something different other than goldleaf for a change! Those Velocities have really grown on me. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 07-20-2010 The other day Kirkwood had all the neighboring departments looking at it. Valley Park was there, but I wasnt at the firehouse yet. A few weeks ago the Asst. Chief said the new truck is a former demo and that is why it was delivered so quick. Kirkwood had planned on replacing the older truck within the next couple of years, until the powerlines fried it. The choices were between A.) A Brand new truck. B.) A demo, almost new. C.)Spend money to repair the older, then replace the older in a few years...they went with the almost new demo. St. Louis Metro - MFD76 - 07-21-2010 Looks sharp. I agree Jeff the blue makes the red pop, looks good. I like that it is labeled Tower instead of Platform. After all if its a stick with a bucket then its a Tower or Tower Ladder. Rick St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 07-23-2010 Here are some more shots of 1535 Again! St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 07-23-2010 Another... St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 07-23-2010 One more... Thats it... I had to run over to the store with my camera while i was at work so i could be over there long... St. Louis Metro - ilfirebuff - 07-23-2010 I was out in Mt.Vernon,IL today looking to shoot some rigs and firehouses and found a pic of Mt.Vernon Eng 5131 at an accident scene so I grabbed a shot of it I think this turned out pretty well. |
