MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 07-19-2011 This apparatus was originally built as a stock ladder truck by Pierce. It was then used in Seasons 5 & 6 of the TV Show "Rescue Me" on FX. It was sold to IFD through Global and entered service on November 5, 2010 with approximately 4900 miles on it. Some of the graphics from the show remain including the FDNY striping and Fire logo, the Ladder 62 logo on the ladder board and a dedication to the names of four fictitious firefighters who lost their lives on 9/11. Fire Apparatus Part III - Aaronw - 08-01-2011 It's been quite a while since I finished one of these, but the mood struck me. 1970s Ford, California Division of Forestry Model 5 type 3 engine. All original except for the wheels, beacon and shovel which came from the parts sheet. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Aaronw - 08-04-2011 US Forest Service Model 60 on a Chevrolet chassis. All original except for the wheels which came from the parts sheet. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Aaronw - 08-04-2011 US Forest Service Model 62B on an International chassis. All original by me. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 08-17-2011 Forgive me - I did these a while back and did not get the names from the orginial posts. These are my versions of a few Philadelphia International Airport rigs. Philly Fire calls the Crash Station Engine 78. Each rig at the PIA is then locally id'ed as FOXTROT # The Chife or Duty Officer is F21 (This seams to have changed a few times). MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 08-17-2011 Now playing around with the idea of PIA getting some OTHER apparatus I made a few "WHAT IF RIGS"... Again I am sorry as I lost the notes for who posted these and the theards have been cleaned and I cant locate who posted these. Most are just "re-paints" with new lettering and logos. Enjoy! MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 08-17-2011 Some other rigs I made for Philly... MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 08-18-2011 Thanks JFong. I saved them and lost some records. Credit noted. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 08-18-2011 I did these back in 2006 and had posted them on the original board. I am sure credit is due to KevinEMT for large chunks of the drawings. The ladder is original by me (and it shows...) MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 08-18-2011 Another 2006 drawing I found... the Montreal Fire Department mobile command post (vehicle # 1005). MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 09-13-2011 can we get some new posts? .....Please.... MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 09-13-2011 With the New Jersey State Firefighter's convention being held this weekend, I decided to do a few of the host city's rigs. The first is a Ford C with 3D body work and a Thibault boom. I cannot find the original artist for the boom so I appologize for the name not being in the credits. If someone can, please post the info so I can add it for proper crediting. MS Paint Anyone! Fire Apparatus Part III - Guest - 09-13-2011 The second is an interesting rig. It is a 1985 Jeep Scrambler. The unit is used as a deluge unit and/or manifold (no pumping capabilties) for fighting fires on the boardwalks and the congested piers that run along the beaches. These units can be driven onto the beaches or onto the boardwalk where typical apparatus could not go. |
