Number was actually 7867, according to my ALF list, maybe your "lesdixia" kicked in!  I believe this was the only 75' Water Chief non-quint from Elmira.

7886 was one of four delivered to Atlanta, this one served as Ladder 11.

7844 went to the East Eden Fire Company and ran as Engine 3.

8126 is a representation of a program truck from ALF.  Called the "Interstate Special", they can be easily identified by a third cab door hinge and the small jumpseat window.

Anxious to see more!
What did the Interstate Special include? What was its purpose? Was it just a cheaper alternative?

Ingomar and Larimer each had a snorkel. Larimers went to Eastern Derry, PA and then headed south. It is now lime green. Ingomar may still own theirs.

I don't have all the details on the Interstate Special, but here's how it was explained to me:  ALF met with representatives from several large city FD's and came up with a pumper spec that all of them could work with.  With the exception of paint and lettering, most Interstate Specials are identical, almost "cookie cutter", which most likely led to a discounted price.  The basic concept came from the 80 Century New Yorker pumpers that were delivered to FDNY in 1981, but the Interstate Specials did not have 4 door cabs.
