They must have unloaded the old Princeton rig. I know they have a high turn over of rigs.

Originally was Wantagh's.

West Islip hould have kept it and sold the Pierce RM bucket, IMO.

They have had 3 Different Scopes in a short period of time, the Scope used on the 1st episode of Rescue Me was thiers, and that was not the Princeton Rig.

Wait no... I was wrong. They have had the newer scope since 2007.

F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 04-17-2009

They have only had 2 scopes, the ex-princeton, and the current rig.

I just got home from a weekend trip to the Big Apple, and I have a half a dozen pictures to share.

First up, Ladder 2 (SL06009) Midtown Hi-Rise, in quarters, 165 East 51st St

F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 04-26-2009

And next to Ladder 2 or course is Engine 8 (SP 02013).

F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 04-26-2009

CPC L-2, on the street in front of Engine 8 / Ladder 2 quarters.

Chemical Protective Clothing support truck for Ladder 2

(sorry about the planter)

F.D.N.Y. - Guest - 04-26-2009

The first three pictures were taken Saturday, these last three earlier today.

Divison 3 messenger van, heading towards Engine 8 / Ladder 2's quarters.

EMS Battalion (FM03050), taken in Times Square just before they took off on a call.

I'm sure someone will tell me which EMS Battalion this is.

Last but not least...

Engine 14 (SP98028) trying to make a left turn at Times Square, but some tourist from Indiana was blocking their way.

Does the FDNY mandate the "We Support Our Troops" markings I see on alot of the windshields? Or is it merely good guys supporting the Joes? Either way, KUDOS! And thanks!

It's not mandated by the job. We do it to show our unwavering support! Alot of FDNY members are currently serving overseas in the War on Terrorism, including a member of my firehouse, FF Lenny Burgmeyer from L-27. Lenny's currently over in Afghanistan on his 2nd tour of duty.
