St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-17-2007 Hey Dave. Good to hear from you, youve been kinda quiet around here. I think Affton might be getting ready to replace 1124. Right now two of their reserve Ford C's are for sale. Also they have a website now it's www.afftonfire.com St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-17-2007 Phil, I am on Logan-Rogersville FPD. Shawn Bittle, who runs with 28, used to be on LR back in the day. He brings the Explorers down every summer. Told me when I wanted to come up and ride with them. I might take him up on it some day. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 I lucked out this morning and got a couple good shots. First up is Kirkwood reserve 1592 with engine 1524 in the background. 1993 E\-One 75' St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 Next on my way home, I was heading down Lindbergh when I came to Mueller, the road Mehville #5 is. So I decided to turn down to see if any other trucks were at the station for training. As I was going down the road they began to pull the platform out. Then I sat across the street snapping a few pics. Mehlville FPD Platform 1752 2000 Pierce Dash 100' St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 They then began to tilt the cab to check the engine. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 The firemen saw getting my shots and they signaled for me to come over, I wasnt going to turn down the opportunity. I needed some shots of the rescue truck and engine. Then they began pulling the ambulance out as well. Mehlville FPD Medic 1757 2001 Freightliner/Marque St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 The ladder again. I kinda like this shot. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 I know, I know...its an indoor shot, but it didnt turn out too bad. The lighting is actually better for this shot than the outdoors. They offered to pull the rescue out, but I said it was good where it was. To pull it out they would have had to move the ambulance parked out front. I thought it might be a bit of a hassle. Mehlville FPD Squad 1756 1998 Pierce Saber St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 Here is the engine. Also indoor, but would have been worse outside. I believe this engine may have a new one on order. Their bays actually arent too bad for indoor shots. Engine 1750 1993 Pierce Arrow St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 I didnt notice the jacket until I got home. Reserve medic 1787 1996 Freightliner/Marque St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 Battalion 1702 2005 Chevy Suburban And 1756 Thats all for now...I might get some more shots later on today. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 Nice shots Phil. I agree those pics turned out good for being indoors St. Louis Metro - Guest - 02-19-2007 Here is a rear shot of the older style ambulances. Medic 1757 2001 Freightliner/Marque St. Louis Metro - ilfirebuff - 02-20-2007 Very nice shots of Mehlville's rigs. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 03-11-2007 I know ive posted this before, but these are better shots. Brentwood FD Medic 407 2004 GMC This was taken at an alarm sounding at the Brentwood Ice Rink. 411 and 407 got on scene and disregaurded mitual aid. I wasnt able to get the pumper with where they were parked. St. Louis Metro - Guest - 03-11-2007 again, backing into the station St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 03-13-2007 here are some shots from me snooping the shops again and to my surprise H&L 6 was out front doing ladder training. First up, reserve engine 135 ex-engine 35 St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 03-13-2007 here are some misc. shop units. St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 03-13-2007 H&L 6 getting ready to do some training. St. Louis Metro - ben_mazanec - 03-13-2007 here are a couple of shots of E-11 running a spare designated as E-122 |
