I guess the 1965 was the photo date, I did notice the web site stated it was from the 1950's, No mention of the maker.

They had another truck that was a Howe, and it had the Howe ID on the Pump panel. Could this be a Howe or Boyer?

i found this 1951 international ?? ex william penn pa schuylkill county,in a delapadated old firehouse that was just about still standing. as you can see by dust on it ,it matches the building decore!! it is in west mahanoy twp pa schuylkill county along route 54 between shenandoah & ashland. i had been told the twp had shut this fire co down but was surprised to see bay door open & someone around!!! the pics are not that great but thought i'd share, i would have asked the old guy to pull the engine out but didn't think it would run, however he told my friend that was with me they chgarge the battery every summer & run it!!!!oh and there was no electric in building either!!!

Frank,Al, Bruce, Tom, et al:

I also believe the Chevy from Dutch Wonderland is ex P-LP Fire Company, Lancaster County, which was at a few PPP Harriburg Musters back in the 1980's. I have a photo of it at the PPP Muster, pumping at the riverside. I list it as having a body built by Stauffer of Terre Hill, Lancaster County. Stauffer builds agri-bodies for farmers but between the end of WW II and 1974 Stauffer would build fire trucks upon request, mainly 500 gpm pumpers on commercial chassis, but with a few field pieces and Tankers thrown in for good measure. They stopped when the UL requirements for pump tests started demanding a dedicated pump test pit (UL would not allow them to test at the creek next to the factory). I am still trying to compile a list of all Stauffer apparatus, and any others you know of out there, please PM me with info!

Thanks! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/3_12_21.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='3_12_21' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/Captain.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Captain' />
