In 1995 refurbed by 4-Guys. This was NOT the CF destroyed in the fire. On 6-28-88 there was a conflagration in Perkasie which started in a lumber/coal yard when kids were playing with matches. Perkasie's 1977 Mack CF was incinerated in that incident. Keystone State Relics - BA000049 - 04-25-2007 Tom, Additional info: East Whiteland 1980 Cheverolet/Pierce - mini-pumper, 400/250/20, 4X4 with a PTO pump, and front ground sweeps. The unit was purchased for $40,440. It had a 4-speed with a 350 CID engine. It also had a Rockwell Foam eductor. It was used as a initial attack piece when it was first bought, then as a field piece, and it was converted to a rescue truck a couple of times when the 1982 Hendrickson/Grumman/Howe rescue-pumper was out of service for a extended period of time. It was housed on 6/26/82. It was sold to a dealer in Texas in 1986, who sold it to a company in Mexico. I cut my teeth on this truck when I first entered the fire service - ran many a call on the back holding on for dear life - almost landed in the hose bed going over bumps in the road - those were the days ! Sharon Hill 1971 Hahn 78, Cincinnati canopy cab, 1000/500, model C-10, delivered 4-29-71, first unit ordered with a canopy cab and the new paint scheme of white over red, body had high side compartments on both sides, Detroit diesel, automatic transmission, in 1988 sold to a dealer in TX. West Lancaster 1964 Ford C950/Barton-American, canopy cab, 1000/1000, sent to Wilson Fire Apparatus of Ft. Smith, AK. in 3/80 for a total refurb which included the following: installing multiple reels for supply and attack lines, replacing the steel water tank with a stainless steel one, all steel diamond plate replaced with aluminum diamond plate, sandblasting and total repaint, returned 10/80, then it was sent to Conestoga Products in 1/81 for additional work which was completed in 3/81. Total cost for the entire project was $40,000. It was sold to Northeast Fire Apparatus who sold it a company in New York in 1991. It was originally purchased through the Glen Culbert Company for $14,298 and had a 534 CI motor and a 5-speed transmission.
