Rice's Landing VFC, Greene County 1987 Ford LS-8000/Pirsch 1250/1000 1993 photo by Warren Jenkins [/quote] I was a member of that Dept. We were told that was the last Pirsch Engine ever built. The cab was tied up in court for almost 2 years when Pirsch went bankrupt. Last I heard they were looking to replace it in the next few years. I don't know that for a fact, but I have heard the same thing. I do know that the last Pirsch TDA went to East Point, GA in 1986. It was a 110' on a Ford L chassis. Anyone know where it went, and for how much?
