Canada Eh? - Big Dave - 08-26-2015 Virden, Manitoba in the Rural Municipality of Wallace has this 2005 Superior/E-1/Int'l 7400 4x4 333/800/50 s/n #SE3492. It was formerly a demo unit. Canada Eh? - Guest - 08-28-2015 Powell River B.C. Squad 14 is a 2001 GMC Sierra 4x4 with PP/100 gallon water tank. Canada Eh? - Guest - 08-28-2015 Powell River B.C. E-41 is a 2014 Smeal Spartan MetroStar with 2000/400/40 specs. Canada Eh? - Guest - 09-06-2015 So while dropping off my daughter for college in Sudbury, Ontario, I had the opportunity to visit a few stations. Pump 2 runs this 2010 Pierce Arrow XT 1500/800. Due to the sun and that it was almost lunchtime, this is the best shot I could get. Canada Eh? - Guest - 09-06-2015 Station 3 is first due at the college, and runs Pump 3, a 2010 Spartan/Fort Garry 1250/600. There is also a spare engine and a brush rig here, but the crew was about to head out, so I was happy to get this rig. Canada Eh? - Guest - 09-06-2015 Pump 4 is a 2009 Pierce ArrowXT PUC 1250/600 Canada Eh? - Guest - 09-06-2015 Tanker 4 has had an interesting history. It started out as a 1988 Freightliner/Anderson 1500 gpm with a Bronto elevating platform, and a single rear axle. A tandem axle was later added. In 2005, the Bronto boom was removed and C-Max added a 3000 gallon tank to the truck. Canada Eh? - Guest - 09-06-2015 On the way home, I stopped at West Nipissing Fire Department, station 1. Unfortunately, the sun was behind the station, and there was limited room to move trucks around, and I had to stand in the street to get the photos I was able to get. They have a few career firefighters that work straight days and I have been invited back for a morning shoot the next time I head up. I will be stopping for sure to get better shots of these rigs! Pump 1 is a 2012 Spartan/Dependable 1250/500 Canada Eh? - Guest - 09-06-2015 Rescue 1 was purchased used, and is one of the very few Hackney's in Canada. Based on a 2001 Spartan, this rig rolls to all extrications in the very large coverage area. Canada Eh? - Guest - 09-06-2015 The final rig photographed was Ladder 1 which is this HME Scorpion 1500/500/104 foot RK Aerial. I thought I shot this truck at FDIC in 2012, Of interest, was that HME has a plate on this truck marking it as a 2015 HME. Does anyone know if there are more of these around, I thought they only made the one. Does anyone know if there are more of these around, I thought they only made the one.Believe it was only this one, I was following a story that involved this particular rig recently, Barre City, VT was supposed to buy this a few months ago, the HME dealer gave them a deal for it and claimed they would hold it for a certain period of time to get the approval to buy it, when they came back to the HME dealer before the deadline they found out the deal was off the table because it had been sold to this department in Canada, Barre officials were not too happy but in the mean time they have approved funds to buy a new rig and I believe it will also be a HME but am not sure if its one of these or a different style. Canada Eh? - Guest - 09-11-2015 Sorry, can't figure out the quote thing...The first West Nippising truck is as follows... It's actually 1,500USGPM/1,000G water tank. The pump was ULC tested to 5,000LPM. This is a Spartan-ERV legend series pumper......there are 40 give or take in Canada about 90% the same pattern as this. Jamie Canada Eh? - Guest - 09-11-2015 Quote:Sorry, can't figure out the quote thing...The first West Nippising truck is as follows...Thanks Jamie, this was the info I got from them. Interesting little station though, neat mix of unusual stuff for Canada.
