DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 10-26-2009 Final shot of E7 before leaving the scene. I asked the officer to light it up so I could get a shot of all the lights. I'll post my video of the units arriving soon once I finish editing it. DCFD Photos, old or new - amcare38 - 10-27-2009 Are the BFC's switching to Chevrolet Suburbans from the Ford Explorers?
Here are the pictures from the fire at the Arena Stage (SW Waterfront) as promised. Sorry for the images, they were taken at night with a non-existant flash. BC3, T7 RS1, T7
DCFD Photos, old or new - DCpsychwardFD - 10-29-2009 Randy, It looks that way, but some of the other DC guys might have more insight, or some reasons for the switch. Go back a few pages and you will see the new Batt 2 buggy.
I tried to get into the station and get a tour / take some pictures but the MPD officer at the door chuckled and said there was no way he would do something like that... In other news, anyone know how long Engine 1 has been in a reserve unit? What's wrong with the frontline truck? DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 11-17-2009 Engine 1 has been out of service awhile. I stopped at the shops on 08/07/09, and it was there stripped. It was there the two times I was down after that as well. DCFD Photos, old or new - DCpsychwardFD - 11-20-2009 I actually went on the opposite side of the water, so the pics arent the best. If you go to East Potomac Park and have a better camera you can spot all three of them. I got a few photos of it, but didn't see the main one inside the bays of the house. Maybe someone has more info on it. Cosgrove where have you been? I didn't see it in any of the 3 bays that I walked by. DCFD Photos, old or new - Fire28 - 12-02-2009 When I was their it was parked behind the ambo. With Foam 2 being parked behind the Engine. Its crowded in that firehouse. |
