It went out of service a few years ago and is waiting to be restored as a parade piece. we also bought an 86 mack tower ladder that was very close to city specs grey boom and all red paint . its still serving us well but up for replacement next year with a Seagrave baker. and 1 other note billy quick who was pictured on this thread is a member of our dept and quite the character. The stars are a give away, but if you look closely at the grill of this rig, you can see where the "88" used to be. As per E88/L38's 100th Anniversary Centennial book, this rig was a 1975 Mack FDNY reg# 7510, Received on Sept. 29, 1975. It is now in service in Puerto Rico.
