We are going through the debate about hardwood versus softwood cribbing. I am just looking to see what others are doing. Christmas Sunday in Portland 12-22-13 - npfd801 - 12-24-2013 You'd be surprised how inexpensive hardwood, true dimensional hardwood cribbing can be if you contact a local sawmill. I'm in northern Illinois and we found a place willing to deal with us. Only drawback is the hardwood weighs a lot! We bought quite a bit extra as well, so we'll be good for many years to come is we lose or damage pieces. Our biggest hassle was finding someone that had a large enough power saw to cut wedges from 4 x 4's. Christmas Sunday in Portland 12-22-13 - sparky - 12-24-2013 Great photos.
