Pseudo Panoramas - Guest - 09-14-2013 I like the panorama format. Although it is most often applied to landscape photos, I think it works well on some fire photos. At a fire I seldom think about it, so I crop some images to fit the panorama format. I call them Pseudo Panoramas and here are 3 examples. If you have any, please add them to this thread. Raising the stick at a 5-alarm fire. Getting ready to throw a 45-footer at a 2-alarm fire. Engine 7's crew advancing a line on a house fire. Lots more here. http://dickh.zenfolio.com/p902979531 Pseudo Panoramas - hank - 09-15-2013 Good photos, Dick! tHANKs Pseudo Panoramas - chief60 - 09-15-2013 Those look great! I really like the third one. Did you post a series on the 5th alarm? I have been waiting to see if any one got some shots of it. It looked pretty impressive! It looked pretty impressive! It was 1 4-story frame builing under construction. It was on the ground in 13 minutes and I got there in about 18 mins. I have a few photos, but that fire sent me to the hospital for a few days so I didn't bother to post them. Pseudo Panoramas - sparky - 09-21-2013 Great stuff. These seem to be all the rage with a lot of websites. Pseudo Panoramas - Guest - 05-25-2014 Quote:Great stuff. These seem to be all the rage with a lot of websites. I have 6 or so slideshows using them on our official photo site. http://pfrimaging.zenfolio.com |
