Guys

The two depts I work for have the old style sealed beam headlights. Any recommendations for better quality replacement headlights? I know there are options out there for HID, but what I've seen, they are very expensive.

Thanks!

Drew

I've got a 2010 IH7400 cab on my engine which uses a round sealed beam light. We just replaced them with an LED light, a simple drop in replacement. They are expensive (I think a set runs $300), but very bright and the fleet manager says they have a 15 year warranty. We were going through 5 or 6 headlights a year, so despite the high cost they will save us in the long run. They definitely improved the drivers sight at night.

They look like these, but the warranty is only 3 years so may be a different brand or the fleet manager may be wrong on the life of the bulb.
