Headlights - apb2148 - 08-23-2013 Guys The two depts I work for have the old style sealed beam headlights. Any recommendations for better quality replacement headlights? I know there are options out there for HID, but what I've seen, they are very expensive. Thanks! We just replaced them with an LED light, a simple drop in replacement. They are expensive (I think a set runs $300), but very bright and the fleet manager says they have a 15 year warranty. We were going through 5 or 6 headlights a year, so despite the high cost they will save us in the long run. They definitely improved the drivers sight at night. They look like these, but the warranty is only 3 years so may be a different brand or the fleet manager may be wrong on the life of the bulb. http://www.truck-lite.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&productId=92025&langId=-1 |
