Anybody say what is the dept they have 4 2007 Pierce 105' Quint for sale on braindlee and what type of truck is for due for replacement.

Sandy Springs GA, they are trading in the 4 quints and 2 engines and getting a new fleet of 2 engines, 3 105' quints and a tower all on Quantum chassis.

Wow !!! I cant believe they are already replacing there apparatus which are barely 6 years old.....

YEah, they have a ton of miles but the most pump hours is 425! There is a 4 or 5 page write up about it if you search Sandy Springs Fire Apparatus. Basically, it is a decent trade-in value to replace the fleet and maintenance costs are increasing(they had 5 year warranties) of course costs will increase!! Glad to see they have a progressive well run city that understands the needs of the department! We need more like it.
