10-minute struggle in Portland 6-14-13 - Guest - 06-22-2013 During a quiet period between two 2nd alarm fires and a 3rd alarm fire, Engine 7 was dispatched to a call for a person passed out in a car. For several minutes he would only respond with loud noises and he finally tumbled out onto the street, struggling. Then it took many people and two injections to finally subdue him ten minutes later (from the EXIF). We heard he was a drug dealer sampling his goods. 10-minute struggle in Portland 6-14-13 - Guest - 06-22-2013 never mind that..lets see the fire photos..2nd and 3rd alarm????? 10-minute struggle in Portland 6-14-13 - photone - 06-22-2013 Quote: Quote:never mind that..lets see the fire photos..2nd and 3rd alarm?????Pretty much my thoughts on the topic as well! 10-minute struggle in Portland 6-14-13 - hank - 06-22-2013 Good photos, Dick! A lot of work for little response. 10-minute struggle in Portland 6-14-13 - Bob-Ont - 06-24-2013 The sad reality is that most major urban departments that run a tiered response system will see more of these type of calls than that big 3 alarm fire call. What is nice to see is strength in numbers from responding agencies when dealing with scumbags like this that abuse themselves and the system. 10-minute struggle in Portland 6-14-13 - Guest - 06-24-2013 Quote:The sad reality is that most major urban departments that run a tiered response system will see more of these type of calls than that big 3 alarm fire call. Exactly. Thanks for your comment. I ride with station 7, Portlands busiest, for a few hours nearly every day and I hit an actual fire about once a month. 10-minute struggle in Portland 6-14-13 - Guest - 06-25-2013 Quote:never mind that..lets see the fire photos..2nd and 3rd alarm?????
