2nd Alarm in Portland, 2 houses + 5-2-13 - Guest - 05-03-2013 At 0058 a box was transmitted for a residential fire at 7201 SE 34th Ave. It was reported as a shed on fire. The assignment was E20,E25, E9, E11, Truck 25, C4 and C1. Engine 20 reported a shed fully involved, spreading to adjacent buildings and ordered a 2nd alarm. The fire spread to a garage and to the homes on both sides of the garage and shed. Second alarm response was E21, E4, E13, E19, Truck 4, Squad 1, C2, C3, C103, C405, Rehab 10, the PIO and both on-duty investigators. The steep roof and limited access to the rear of the buildings were problems at this fire. The first photo was taken later, but shows the overall scene. They had to break down the fence to get to the rear. The shed is on the ground. Laddering the rear. Lt.
