One of the local dealers here asked if I could help identify this and I am completely stumped. It appears to be some sort of external alarm bell, but I have never personally seen anything like this. The large fire sticker seems to be fairly new and I am assuming Skeen was possibly the company that had utilized this at a facility...

It is an electro-mechanical gong with the turtle shell gong installed in reverse. I think probably did this to project the sound from it better than having it turn around with the smooth side out. That is also a type of sounding board or box which it is installed in
