I want to see what folks out there can do with the omni powerful program Photoshop.

Here's some Berkshire SPAAMFAA rigs done with some of the photocopy filter a little sharpen edges and slight adjustments on brightness and contrast.

Pawling, NY's newer engine done with some chalk and charcoal filter, leaving the grill colors untouched.

find edges - adjusted levels, knock brightness down a little and contrast up some - new layer high pass filter in overlay mode.

random filters and adjustments - I should pay more attention to what I do when it works

No today I am the cook...not the baker! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Thumbsup' /> Corned Beef is almost ready!

Cropped, resized, desaturated all color expect yellows filled the letters with a flame pattern I had on file used the photocopy filter with the foreground on white and the background on black. Faded the photocopy and swapped the mode to overlay (I think).

Love the El Paso Rig and the addition of the Flag - NICE!!!

I've been doing this with a lot of shots lately. The crews love it when I e-mail them back one of these for them to use as the screen saver at their stations. I;ve found that if you up the contrast a little (essentially darkening the photo) in the BW layer, it gives a little more depth and pop to the colored portion.

Made this one up as a "baseball card" concept for the Code 3 for a Cure Foundation. The picture was taken by me, the ribbon was designed by John McKnight of North County Fire in Fallbrook, CA.
