Photoshop - hoss - 12-07-2008 I want to see what folks out there can do with the omni powerful program Photoshop. Here's some Berkshire SPAAMFAA rigs done with some of the photocopy filter a little sharpen edges and slight adjustments on brightness and contrast. Photoshop - hoss - 12-07-2008 just played a lot with this one. Photoshop - hoss - 12-08-2008 Pawling, NY's newer engine done with some chalk and charcoal filter, leaving the grill colors untouched. Photoshop - hoss - 03-17-2009 find edges - adjusted levels, knock brightness down a little and contrast up some - new layer high pass filter in overlay mode. Photoshop - hoss - 03-17-2009 random filters and adjustments - I should pay more attention to what I do when it works Photoshop - PTL117PB - 03-17-2009 Photoshop - hoss - 03-17-2009 more randomness Photoshop - hoss - 03-17-2009
more randomness
cropped down version of the original shot - Sharon & Watertown, CT ex-tower. Photoshop - hoss - 03-17-2009 Little Italy Hydrant Photoshop - hoss - 03-17-2009 No today I am the cook...not the baker! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Corned Beef is almost ready! Cropped, resized, desaturated all color expect yellows filled the letters with a flame pattern I had on file used the photocopy filter with the foreground on white and the background on black. Faded the photocopy and swapped the mode to overlay (I think). Original photo: Photoshop - MedicAdam - 03-17-2009

Paul nice pic. Photoshop - hoss - 05-06-2009 One of Pawling, NY's tankers that was at today's house fire. Photoshop - ffemtwakeman - 07-06-2009 I just found this one going through my files, forgot I had it. Photo was taken last July, El Paso TX Engine 33. Photoshop - ffemtwakeman - 07-06-2009 Same picture, I just added in the Texas flag. Photoshop - Guest - 10-18-2009 Here is one I did a few years back when trying to make a T-Shirt. Photoshop - Guest - 10-20-2009
Same picture, I just added in the Texas flag.
I really like that shot....... Here's one I did that you probably saw already...... Hyattsvile MD Squad 1 on the apron...... Photoshop - Guest - 11-03-2009 Love the El Paso Rig and the addition of the Flag - NICE!!! I've been doing this with a lot of shots lately. The crews love it when I e-mail them back one of these for them to use as the screen saver at their stations. I;ve found that if you up the contrast a little (essentially darkening the photo) in the BW layer, it gives a little more depth and pop to the colored portion. Photoshop - Guest - 11-03-2009 Another one from Indiana: Photoshop - ffemtwakeman - 03-12-2010 Dallas, TX Engine 40 going out on a run. Photoshop - ffemtwakeman - 03-12-2010 Made this one up as a "baseball card" concept for the Code 3 for a Cure Foundation. The picture was taken by me, the ribbon was designed by John McKnight of North County Fire in Fallbrook, CA. |
