Ran as Engine 411 until it was replaced by a new Pierce Dash in 2005 if I remember correctly.

Not sure where it is now. Maybe someone with updated FFX CO roster could help with that.

Love that new Rescue Engine 433, hope she is serving them well. Nice addition with Engine 411 and I like that "Members Only" piece they have on the tailboard. Thanks again for posting some more NOVA rides!

Does anyone know what the 3 red lights on the top of the raise on the cab are for.(just warning lights?)

Possibly water tank levels, but they are usually colored (i.e red, green, amber and red) or probably just additional warning lights for when the cab is tilted or response.

Fairfax County VA - Roto-Ray - 03-11-2007

Actually, many people do think that these are tank level indicators, but they're actually just supplimental warning lights. They're used in lieu of an additional mini light bar on the cab roof. Reva VFD in Culpeper County, VA uses them also...

Now that is something novel idea. I thought it was tank level indicators myself.

Nice pic of the new Engine 436. Any news on where the other 4 of the second batch of Pierce pumper are going to be assigned? I had heard that one would be 441 and just looking at the roster I was guessing 416 and 412. Any thoughts or news on the thrird batch of pumpers arriving this fall (4 Dash) might be bound?

I know that 441 and the Training Academy are each getting one. The others are rumored to be going to E425 and E432.
