Need help finding a truck - Guest - 09-26-2006 Hi, im a college student looking for a project truck to learn restoration and body work. Money is kind of an issue with this, but im looking for basicly a mack. Either a B or CF model. Also Ex FDNY cfs possibly. Id figure id ask you guys because if seen dozens of pictures of trucks that are worth saving and i would like to give it a try. Im most interested in finding a B model to work on, but im open to anything thats avalable. I am close to the pittsburgh area, so the closer the better. If i posted this in the wrong forum i apologize. Need help finding a truck - smketrfdny - 09-26-2006 Well, Brother. we've discussed this a few times. Keep looking. Patience is a virtue.... <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> spaamfaa.com (and their links), tedsenginehouse.com, ebay, for starters. And dont forget the major manufacturers and dealers. They never posted a pic of it, but Ferrara had a C model for sale n their website. And don't forget the guy in Wysox, Pa. Though people say he isnt friendly and has no personality, it never hurts to try. And go to google and type in "Mack fire apparatus for sale". I found a lot before Mike Martinelli directed me to my FDNY Mack. Anything else, let me know. Good luck.
