The 1946 Ford Pumper was not a DCFD Piece./ It was a gift from a retired DFC ( I think) it is originally from Kenbridge Va. .if I recall correctly.

Tim, if you know more about it please share. For the last 20 years it was believed that a member of FFA who's name escapes me won it in a raffle. It was donated to the National Firefighter's Parade committee and passed on to FFA/DCFD after the dissolution of the parades. Let me tell you it's a bitch to drive up 13th St until you get into 4th gear.

I'll answer both questions with this. He is one of the hardest working people I know, and needs a lot more support than just a vehicle.

Ok thats good, but what exactly is he responsible for? Im guessing to do with Liasioning with the Water, Sewer, Electric, and etc Depts that are critical?
