Does anybody have and pictures of the old International Twin Agent Unit that was S.706?

Nope, S116 was always E30 until we got the 2002 Seagrave (S141). S116 went to the shop today to get it's new "50 series" number.

S196 was originally E16, painted in stars & bars. It was reassigned to E3 and painted red over white when they reopened the station, and found its way to E30 for about 6 months or so in 2004 while S141 got an extended vacation to apparatus division. I wish I'd have kept up on the many Twinned Agent Units. This was a Target of Opportunity photo I grabbed 10 or so years ago on the Mall -- I am sure dcfiremanjeff would have details of the apparatus.

BCFDT782- DCFD had a 1970 Ford F/National Foam 1000GPM Chemical unit that carried 100-gallons of Light Water and 1500 #'s of Purple K. This may or may not be the rig you were looking for.

No, it is still not the truck, it was an INTERNATIONAL 1310 PICK-UP TRUCK that I think was Twin Agent #2. If this helps any.

Is this it? The Commish and Dr. Steinbaugh have better images - 345 and 354 in this thread. I don't recall the Shop serial; it would have been a 7 prefix. This unit ran for a while as TAU 2 out of Engine 1 and - here's a truth stranger than fiction - I rode the back step on this critter one night, 1979, when it was sent to stand by for Vice President Mondale's helicopter to land. The photo shows it in reserve at the Training Academy, July 1991.

Speaking of Twinned Agent Units, no one has posted TAU 3, which has been running out of Engine 1 for the past three months. The twenty year old rig serves as a ready reserve unit for when TAU 1 or TAU 2 are out of service.

Twinned Agent Unit 3 is a self-contained apparatus charged with two extinguishing agents – Purple K dry chemical and Light Water (AFFF) at six-percent, both propelled by compressed nitrogen. The hose reel contains 100’ of twinned hose, ¾” and 1”. The ¾” hose connects to the Purple K nozzle and the 1” hose connects to the Light Water nozzle. Delivery: Light Water at 60 GPM, Purple K at 5 pounds per second.

In photo 570, whats inside the compartment where the 34 is? Also the Seagrave in 571 looks similar to the FDNY hosebed.

Dead space. Compartments and their contents are standardized on DC wagons. However, the compartment above the backstep on the Cyclones wasn't dedicated; companies had their own options on how to utilize it.
