LED sign boards that display the dispatch information. There are 2 in every house.

Jerry
To fd 141: I'm sorry - I went through the archives and I do not have any pix of old T-9! I guess I was so familiar with it I never thought to shoot it.

Jerry: next up would be three heavy duty rescue squads, probably one year apart, starting later in 2008. Meanwhile the 1984 E\-One box on a 1997 Freightliner is still around. Photo is Rescue Squad 3, Oct. 16, 2007.

Any idea who will be building the new rescue squads or are the plans still being drawn up?
What happened to the bench in front of E-16 with "Taz" on it"?
Taz is alive and well in most rooms in 1018 13th St. NW and the bench is back in front. The photo where he was missing happened to be on the day the bench was in the back room under repair. If you remember, that's Wayne "The Colonel" Klinger on the bench - now Lieutenant, RS-3.

Wow, I'm getting old. I remember when the Colonel had hair........

Didnt think Jeff Wright would let anything happen to that bench...

Ahhh, the memories... Thanks Kev.

OK as promised Metro Drill Operation Troubled Waters. The scenario is a train catches fire on the longbridge over the Potmac River. The Metro train driver has stuff to do and firefighters from Arlington, Alexandria, DC, Montgomery and PG Counties get to strut their stuff.

To set the location for those not familiar. That is the 14th street bridge (the one the plane hit in 1982) in the distance is Rosslyn. The train just left the Pentagon and was heading to L'Enfant Plaza.

Most of the guys and the trucks were from DC so I will post them here. We got on the train via an emergency exit in Potomac park

More of that. I got to attend because I am a Community Emergency Response Team member in Arlington.
