DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 11-20-2007

DCFD Photos, old or new - Guest - 11-20-2007

Looks like Rescue 1 stores there winch in a compartment and Rescue 2 stores there’s on the Bumper above the receiver…Rescue 1 looks to have something in or over there receiver..

Rescue 2 has DCFD above windshield

Somebody had asked me to post any other photos I had from DC on here. I don't have the time to post them on here, but they are posted on my website. Check them out.

Anyone know why the DC rescues have little to no markings on the box? From the rear of the cab to the tailboard, little to no markings, lights, reflective tape and the like.

It could be that they were spec'd and built to the current nfpa standards at the time they were created, plus the District isn't going to spend more than it is necessary. A lot of cities are like that. Money is hard to get so they get what the standards call for. Just my thoughts...
