In 2003, the DCFD took delivery on six Pierce Dash wagons, with 1250 GPM pumps and 500-gallon tanks. They were powered by Detroit 50 diesels. Shop serials S-146 through S-151 went to Engines 8, 12, 16, 22, 33, and 4. Of the six, two went in reserve in 2007: S-146 (xE-8) became E-62, and S-148 (xE-16) became Engine 56. E-33’s went to E-05 and E-04’s went to E-20.

E-22 and E-12 still have their Pierce’s. Having spoken to veteran wagon drivers familiar with both Pierce and Seagrave (DCFD models), the current apparatus seem to be equal to one another in just about all reagards.

Need alittle help please.
New Rescue 2 anyone know the S-###?
The Old Resuce 2 im assuming is now a Rsv?
T13 & 16's previous units before they got the new 07 Seagraves where did they end up? I seem to of lost them in the process of reworking my roster.
Are the CSU's assigned to stations? If so which ones?

The Serial on the new squad wagon is S-822, a break with half a century of tradition when squads wore the 600-serials.

Is RS-2 the busiest of the 3 rescues? I thought RS-1 or RS-3 was.
I ask because how did DCFD determine who got the new rig?

The 50-series wagons are each equipped with 2000’- feet of Large Diameter Hose and are designated as Water Supply Engines; the 60-series are Ready Reserve Wagons, fully equipped with hose, tools, SCBA’s and radios; the 70-series are reserve wagons that may not be fully equipped. Whenever a regular wagon will be out of service for an extended period of time, it is stripped and the hose, tools and appliances are placed onto a bare 70 series reserve wagon.
