Am I reading that correctly that the original order has a 1500 GPM pump with a 3000 gal water tank? Then Chicago takes the pump and tank off?

300 gallon tank removed.  I have never seen an aerial platform with a 3000 gallon tank.  But you could be right or it is a typo.

The spec from HGAC included a tank and pump as standard. If you read down on item 1.10.2 they remove the tank and pump as well as engine brake, aluminum wheels, Akron monitor and ground ladders. 1.11 through 1.15 add back their ground ladder package, which modifies the body, steel wheels, TFT monitor. front intake and lettering. I wonder what they do for secondary braking on their units?

Digging into the spec they use an "Allison retarder."
