Once again I am a day late and a dollar short. At approximately 1000 hours the box alarm was sounded for a building fire at Vandever Ave & N Market St. Engines 4,3,5 and Ladder 1 with both Battalion Chiefs were dispatched. Engine 4, responding from their quarters a block away reported fire through the roof of a 1 story sandwich shop/corner store. Battalion 1 requested an additonal engine and ladder company, sending Engine 1 and Tower 2 to the scene. Companies made quick work of the fire and it appeared to have been confined to the roof/cockloft area. Alas, once again I'm only getting after the fact and people shots!
