Early Morning Hose Fire, Portland 3-16-2014 - Guest - 03-20-2014 Quote:The roof shots are awesome. Any word on the wheel incident.. The piece seemed fairly new . It was caused by a casting defect. There is a forward camera somewhere on the rig and it caught the whole thing. When the wheel broke off it rolled along beside the rig for a considerable distance, nearly hitting a truck, before it fell over. Then the camera shows two members lifting it upright and rolling it out of the way. All our other recent Pierce's were checked within a few hours and found to be OK. It was still within the warranty period. |
