Just before 2AM a box was transmitted for a house fire at Bush St. and 8th Ave.
Usually I would not go so far for a house fire (about 130 blocks), but playing a
hunch I got dressed and started.
When first due Eng. 20 arrived, Capt. Boone reported the first floor fully involved
and it would be a defensive fire. Shortly before I arrived, the heavy fire had been
knocked down and Truck 25 opened the roof.
I have poor luck with flash reflecting from the scotchlight, so I posted these mainly
to show you can get usable hand held photos with high ISO and low shutter speeds.
It was very dark when this was taken.
EXIF: ISO 3200, f2.8, 0.4 sec.

This was taken after Truck 25 turned on some lights.
EXIF: ISO 3200, f3.1, 1/10 sec.
