In the afternoon Aurora BC3, E10, E8, T14, HR8 & M106 were dispatched to a boat accident with people in the water at Aurora Reservoir. Battalion 3 placed the South Metro Fire Dive Team on standby and requested additional medic units. I live closer to the area than the nearest fire station and quickly drove over. The report was a capsized boat, 3 people still in the water and one drifting away from the others. When I arrived the Park Ranger Boat was approaching the scene, the boat was upside down about 150 yards from shore.
Aurora, CO Capsized Boat 7/6/13

The Rangers picked up the 3rd person who had drifted and then went for the others who were holding onto the hull.
AFD Battalion 3, Engine 10 and Medic 106 were arriving in the park around this time
The guys in the water must not have been in too much distress since the Rangers brought the boat onboard before the people.
The Rangers determined there were no injuries and the occupants of the boat refused medical assistance. Battalion 3 continued in for the report and all other units were cancelled.
Good pic
nice work.
