1/22/13 Lynn MA 3rd Alarm Fire -Box 654 For 67 Murray St

This 3 alarm fire broke out around 10am this morning with temperatures being in the low 20s. Companies arrived to heavy fire conditions. A 2nd alarm was quickly struck and an aggressive interior attack was made. Balloon frame construction along with heavy winds drove the fire rapidly through the attic causing the incident commander to back the companies out and go defensive. Mutual aid was received from Saugus, Salem and Swampscott.
